Chuan Spa Introduces its First Wellbeing Workshop “TCM at Work”- Open to Public and Free of Charge

27 December 2007, Hong Kong ---- Neck and shoulder pain, lower back pain and other musculoskeletal distresses are most common among office executives in Hong Kong. Aspiring to incorporate principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine into wellness practices, Chuan Spa at Langham Place Hotel, Mongkok, Hong Kong races to the rescue with its very first “TCM at Work” workplace musculoskeletal care workshop open to the public and free of charge. Guest speakers on the day will be Chuan Spa’s Traditional Chinese Medicine consultant, Kelly Chain, who will address the issue from the Chinese medical perspective. Occupational physiotherapist, Pete To will also share his day-to-day injury prevention tips.

“TCM at Work” will cover:

1. Potential injuries at the workplace (neck and shoulder pain, lower back pain, carpel-tunnel syndrome, etc)

1. Concept of Ergonomics (correct postures to minimize injuries at work)

2. Injury prevention exercises

3. Question and answer session
